Lunch time Eat better !

Rely on magnesium and vitamin B for overcoming your periods of stress and to help you recover your inner calm.

Your meal: avocado, wholewheat pasta or beans, liver or tuna, banana or dried fruits (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds...). Before an exam or strenuous mental effort, eat a plate of pasta.

A cereal bar, chocolate (with over 70% cocoa) or dried fruit are useful during an exam. Look at anti-stress foods.

Before going home Exercise !

Exercise for 30 to 45 minutes, preferably outside (biking, running...) and breathe deeply.

In the evening Enjoy !

Get out of the house and meet up with friends or family; go to the movies or to the theatre.

Bedtime Unwind !

Do not let your anxiety get the best of you : find a quiet place far from everyone, turn down the lights, lie down, and close your eyes. Choose a part of your body – your arms for example - and concentrate on its muscles; inhale and contract only those muscles, hold your breath, then exhale and relax those muscles. Alternate contracting and releasing all of your muscles, from head to toe.
